The Vice President, Transformation, provides executive leadership for enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across the health system. This role is accountable for designing, governing, and executing complex programs that drive clinical, operational, financial, and digital performance improvements across the academic medical center, medical group, and community hospitals. The Vice President drives measurable results aligned with system success measures and key strategic objectives.
The VP leads the Transformation Office, healthcare engineering, and decision science functions, ensuring standardized metrics, validated data, and advanced operational and financial modeling inform executive decision-making. This role partners closely with physician, nursing, operational, and administrative leaders to implement sustainable change, optimize performance, and advance value-based care initiatives, while maintaining alignment with the organization?s mission, regulatory requirements, and financial objectives.
The VP is responsible for embedding data-driven insights, advanced analytics, and evidence-based operational models into transformation governance, dashboards, and enterprise decision-making forums, ensuring measurable, actionable outcomes across the health system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare transformation, performance improvement or operational strategy role within a complex health system or an academic medical center
Master?s degree required, MBA, MPH, MHA or a related health care-focused discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide, multi-year transformation initiatives with measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes; including governance design, prioritization frameworks.
Experience establishing or leading transformation offices, PMOs, or performance improvement functions.
Strong knowledge of value-based care models, including CMS programs, bundled payments, ACOs and risk-based reimbursement structures.
Advanced experience with data-driven decision-making, including development and use of enterprise KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems.
