Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a Distribution Operations Coordinator!
Scheudule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
? Freight Handling: Unload inbound freight, ensuring safe and efficient processing of packages.
? Package Processing: Process packages according to BJC receiving guidelines, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
? Freight Staging: Stage inbound and outbound freight for efficient workflow and distribution.
? Campus Deliveries: Perform timely direct deliveries to various departments across campus.
? Communication: Communicate effectively with departments via email or Microsoft Teams chat to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
? Discrepancy Documentation: Identify and document freight discrepancies, ensuring accurate reporting.
? RTV Processing: Complete Return to Vendor (RTV) forms as needed, following company procedures.
? Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the receiving department?s operations.

Role Purpose
The Distribution Operations Coordinator assists management in the daily operation and services provided by the supply distribution operation. This position helps to identify staffing constraints and assists in coordinating workloads & assignments. This position also serves as a functional expert on inventory management and resource management systems (e.g., Wavemark, Atpar, FLICS, PeopleSoft, etc.) towards managing all par locations across the enterprise. Additionally, the Distribution Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that standard work practices are communicated and followed across the system.
