• 50-bed Emergency Department
• 62,000–65,000 patient visits annually
• Strong Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) support
• Consistent staffing with no current contract labor

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the operational, clinical, and financial leadership of the Emergency Department. This role ensures high-quality patient care, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced nurse leader with:

• Proven success in emergency department leadership
• A collaborative, team-first leadership style
• Strong clinical and operational expertise
• Experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center (highly preferred)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school (required)
• Valid RN License in Virginia or compact state (required)
• AHA BLS Provider CPR (required at hire)
• AHA ACLS Provider (required at hire)
• AHA PALS Provider (required at hire)
• NIHSS (Bluecloud) within 90 days
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
