JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Strategic Servcices Associate to support the development and innovation of the capacity management system for ambulatory operations. The capacity management system involves optimizing resources including clinicians, staff, and space to meet the increased demand for patient care. Effective capacity management is pivotal to improved operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and clinician and staff experience.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead data analyses related to supply and demand across the ambulatory platform including clinician hiring, clinical productivity, space utilization, and resource management.
Develop data management systems for continuous assessment and facilitate the communication of key insights and opportunities to ambulatory leadership and Clinical Departments.
Establish KPIs and performance targets using industry benchmarks and internal efficiency standards.
Create and implement a capacity management toolkit for Clinical Departments to understand opportunities and levers for improvement.
Manage vendor relationship for exam room scheduling and space utilization. Support development of best practices, implementation, and change management activities.
Provide capacity management analytical support to Clinical Departments and local leaders for improvement work.
Manage strategies and solutions related to capacity management. Provide thought leadership for capacity management across the ambulatory platform.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a business or health-related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years work experience, including 3 years of experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. Experience leading work teams required.
Experience can be supplemented with Master's degree with a Masters being equivalent to two years of experience.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
