Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The CMA II will assume responsibility for clinical as well as administrative functions including managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting in an EMR, assisting physicians with procedures, managing phones, scheduling appointments, maintaning supply inventory, providing backup for front end staff when necessary, and other duties typical of a physician practice.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Qualifications/Requirements:
MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT or NHA required
Knowledge of an EMR and practice management scheduling system desired
