Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Service Rep for the At Home Medical at out Corporate office in Morris Plains.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Audit paperwork for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements
Complete billing steps for claim submission of electronic and paper claims
Review order reports, process backorders and communicate with vendors as needed
Review therapy compliance reports and communicate with patients regarding payer requirements
Document order processing errors
Correct claim rejections for accurate submission
Review denial reports, determine root causes and correct for claim resolution
Work on AR projects
Submit claim corrections and appeals
Request adjustments
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
1-2 years previous healthcare accounts receivable experience preferred
Ability to read, interpret and apply medical policies and make informed decisions regarding coverage criteria
Proficent in Microsoft Office Suite- Ability to apply excel formulas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be organized and have the ability to work independently, identify and solve problems
Willingness to learn, attention to detail and good follow up skill
