Woodland Clinic Medical Group is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their group in Woodland, CA.
Job Duties:
Work in collaboration with our physicians/surgeons
Support patients in the hospital
Provide wound care and wound care education to patients and floor nurses
Coordination of care as patients are discharged from the hospital
See an average of 50-60 patients per week
Partner with local skilled nursing facilities in evaluating patients and providing care and education
Inventory and managing supplies for wound care clinic
Phone consultative services as needed
Job Requirements:
Experience with complex wound care, ostomy care, wounds VACs, measurement of varicose vein patients for compression garments, unna boot changes, and initial wound evaluation for primary care and specialty care physicians
Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
