The role you’ll contribute:
The Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory Assistant II (CILA) II perform a wide range of tasks, which are utilized around a variety of Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe care of all patients.The CILA is proficient in Pre, Intra and Post-Op care for the patients, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department. Adheres to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation
·Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals
·Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry
·Ability to monitor patient blood pressure, ECG, and Pulse Oximetry using sophisticated clinical equipment
·Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Diploma or Certificate: Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiology, or Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Services
·Basic Life Support (BLS)
·Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
·Must possess and maintain one of the following:
oEmergency Services Diploma or Certification
oPatient Care Tech Certification
