Some exclusions may apply. As a Radiologic Technologist at Centura Health, you will:* Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).** Maintains technical operation of equipment and notifies service when necessary. Notifies supervisor of equipment problems and logs the service call/problem per department procedure. * Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice.* Communicates in writing and verbally with all physicians, imaging personnel, students and hospital staff in facilitating the continuum of care. ** Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. * Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel. * Assure current standards of practice for the unit.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required* One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers* HS diploma or GED required* Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T.
