Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The Medical Office Associate will assume responsibility for managing phones, checking in/out patients, scheduling & confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, processing referrals, processing medical record releases, and other clerical duties typical of a hospital based outpatient department as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum Experience:
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice required
Computer literacy essential
Working knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR system desired
Strong customer service skills a must
