Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time MRI Technologist for the Radiology - MRI Department at Newton Medical Center. Shift is from 8:00am to 8:00pm, 3 days a week, including every other weekend.
Ensures patients physical and psychological comfort
Ensures availability of medical records, labs and screening sheets for examination
Explains all procedures in a clear and concise manner without causing unnecessary anxiety
Monitors patient's physical condition throughout procedure
Must be a team player and able to multitask in the hospital/outpatient environment
Must exemplify professionalism and compassion while ensuring patient safety and the delivery of quality imaging services
Effective communication skills with physicians, coworkers, supervisors
Graduate of approved NJ radiographic program
NJ state license register technologist certificate (RT) with advanced certificate in MRI (MR) required
1-3 years of prior experience preferred
