Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for Deskovick 3- Spine unit at Morristown Medical Center to work from 11PM to 7AM, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills
Must be a team player willing to work in a cohesive team with primary focus on patient safety, quality and satisfaction
Must be able to assist in organizational throughout as an extension of the Preoperative team
Must possess ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment with a focus on Patient Satisfaction and Teamwork
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
License/Certifications:
BLS preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Relevant Experience:
1-3 years of experience in acute care
