Atlantic Health System is seeking per diem Nursing Assistants for the Medical/Surgical Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 8 hour shifts. 1 week day and 3 weekend shifts with a total of 7 shifts a month.
Responsibilities
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
1+ year of Acute Care, long term care, or rehab experience as a Nursing Assistant strongly preferred
License/Certifications:
BLS preferred
CNA with clinical experience preferred
