Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Nursing Educator (RN) for the Nursing Education Department at Chilton Medical Center. Hours are flexible; some weekend hours may be required.
Responsibilities
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- BSN Required
- MSN Preferred
Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
License/Certification:
- New Jersey Registered Nurse License required
- BLS Required
- Board Certification in Wound and/or Wound, Ostomy, Continence Required
Relevant Experience:
- Wound Care experience strongly preferred
- Prior Inpatient experience preferred
- 5 years clinical experience strongly preferred
