Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator for the Oncology Research Department at Morristown Medical Center to work 8AM-4PM.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Enrollment of research patients. Ensures the recruitment of subjects for study participation; coordinates screening of subjects and ensures inclusion and exclusion criteria are met.
Enrolls subjects through the relevant system (IVRS/OPEN, etc) Obtains proper documentation of such.
Ensure compliance with all medications, dose modifications or delays based on protocol specifications.
Ensures activation and training activities have occurred.
Presenter at the appropriate committee meetings.
Ensures training of all Oncology Research staff and ancillary staff as appropriate.
Communicates all protocol requirements with the healthcare team. Obtains documentation of such training and communication.
Ensures study related activities are conducted per protocol and SOPs
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
BSN preferred
Minimum Experience:
5 years oncology nurse experience preferable in an infusion center preferred
Research experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
OCN and/or CCRC required
Qualifications:
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
