Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant II for the Gastroenterology at Atlantic Medical Group in Morristown NJ.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Candidate will perform clinical i.e., vital signs, patient intake, room patients; as well as administrative functions, i.e.
- Managing phones, scanning documents into electronic medical records, obtaining pre-op paperwork, labs
- Collaborate with team to accommodate same day requests, check and respond to emails and pools daily
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Experience:
- Post MA externship experience preferred
- Strong communication and computer skills essential
- EMR experience desired
License/Certification:
- Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA, AMCA or NCCT required
