Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking an full-time Medical Office Associate II for Hematology / Oncology Physician office in Morristown, NJ.
** must be willing to travel to other sites **
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsiblities:
The MOA II will manage phones, greet patients, schedule/confirm appointments, enter demographics & patient information.
Medical Office Professional will verify insurance coverage, complete forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system, and process pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma required
Minimum Experience:
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred
Knowledge of computerized scheduling & EMR system a plus
Computer literacy in Word and Excel helpful
1+ year experience in a Medical office setting preferred
