Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Morristown Medical Center to work 9:00AM-9:30PM, including on-call and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Candidate will assist physicians with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, Impella, Structural Heart (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO and ASD) cases.
- Administers post recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
- Must be able to assess for and manage arterial access site complications.
- Adheres to on-call policy requirements and responds appropriately to emergency calls per unit policy.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited CVT School with RCIS certification or within 1-year of hire.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
- RCIS/RCVT experience required.
- To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
License/Certification:
- ACLS/BLS required.
