Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department at Chilton Medical Center to work 7:00pm - 7:00am, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Patient care, EKG, Phlebotomy, procedural set ups, Point of care testing, assist in procedures and other care tasks
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School diploma/ GED required
Associates degree preferred
Minimum Experience:
1 year medical experience, Emergency Department or EMT experience a plus
Licenses/Certifications:
BLS certification preferred; required to be obtained within 3 months of hire
EMT and/or nursing assistant certification a plus
Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English
Possess proficient computer skills and demonstrate proper phone etiquette
Will consider candidates enrolled in a nursing program.
