Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department at Chilton Medical Center to work 7:00pm - 7:00am, including every other weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Patient care, EKG, Phlebotomy, procedural set ups, Point of care testing, assist in procedures and other care tasks

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma/ GED required
• Associates degree preferred

Minimum Experience:

• 1 year medical experience, Emergency Department or EMT experience a plus

Licenses/Certifications:

• BLS certification preferred; required to be obtained within 3 months of hire
• EMT and/or nursing assistant certification a plus

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English
• Possess proficient computer skills and demonstrate proper phone etiquette
• Will consider candidates enrolled in a nursing program.
