Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem CMA to join our Primary Care and Women's Health team in the Northern NJ region. Our practice locations range from Oakland, Kinnelon, Totowa, Wayne and Pompton Lakes, NJ. Practice hours range from Monday through Friday with occasional evening and Saturday hours.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The Certified Medical Assistant(CMA) will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. manage patient flow, perform vital signs, patient intake.
Will also oversee alll aspects of rooming patients, handle patient messages and communication, administer immunizations to adult and pediatric patient population.
Certfied Medical Assistant (CMA) will maintain exam room and supplies, register and schedule patients in a practice management system and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
License/Certifications:
Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
Relevant Experience:
Post graduate CMA experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience a plus
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule essential
