Overview
Atlantic Health Sytem is looking for an Registered Nurse to work Per-Diem 8am-4pm at the Cardiac Rehab Department located at MMC.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- This is a per diem position 8am-4p, must work every other weekend
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN preferred
License:
- Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BLS Required
- Must be arrtyhmia certified
- CCRN Preferred
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Shared Governance
- Team building skills
- Patient experience
Relevant Experience:
- Experience with caring for cardiac surgery patients
- Telemetry experience
- Able to communicate, educate and disseminate information to patients, staff and family
- Skills that will assist with professional development
