Atlantic Health System is seeking full-time Certified Medical Assistant for the Primary-Care office at Totowa office.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Room patients, take vital signs, document in EPIC EMR, assist physician with procedures
Certified Medical Assistant order supplies, and be cross trained in front desk procedures to include phone management
CMA will registering, scheduling and check out procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
HS Diploma required
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule a must
Prior physician practice experience preferred
EMR experience a plus
License/Certification:
MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required.
