Overview
Overlook Medical Center's Atlantic Neuroscience Institute is the region's leader in neuroscience care, offering a broad range of advanced neurological, neurosurgical and neurodiagnostic services. Atlantic Health System has an opportunity for a Patient Care Technician in the Neuroscience-Inpatient Department at our Overlook Medical Center location. This is a full time position, with a shift of 7p-7a, including every third weekend.
Responsibilities
Candidate will work directly with and under the supervision of an RN.
Candidate must represent AHS PRIDE values.
Essential functions of PCT providing ADL's to our patients - Vital signs/EKG's/phlebotomy/following the AIDET philosophy.
Candidate should be a team player.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. College preferred.
At least 1-2 years CNA or PCT experience required.
Phlebotomy, ECG, glucometer and BLS certification preferred.
