Overview
Overlook Medical Center's Atlantic Neuroscience Institute is the region's leader in neuroscience care, offering a broad range of advanced neurological, neurosurgical and neurodiagnostic services. Atlantic Health System has an opportunity for a Patient Care Technician in the Neuroscience-Inpatient Department at our Overlook Medical Center location. This is a full time position, with a shift of 7p-7a, including every third weekend.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will work directly with and under the supervision of an RN.
- Candidate must represent AHS PRIDE values.
- Essential functions of PCT providing ADL's to our patients - Vital signs/EKG's/phlebotomy/following the AIDET philosophy.
- Candidate should be a team player.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. College preferred.
- At least 1-2 years CNA or PCT experience required.
- Phlebotomy, ECG, glucometer and BLS certification preferred.
