Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Certified Surgical Technician II for the Operating Room at Morristown Medical Center, working 7AM-8PM, rotating weekends, holidays, and call required.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Scrubbing and Preparing for surgical cases in a fast paced, multi specialty Surgery Department.
Adheres to AORN Standards, applies principles of aseptic technique assuring optimal patient outcomes.
Multi specialty knowledge base of surgical procedures, safe and quick turnovers utilizing a team approach and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School degree or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required
License/Certification:
Certified Surgical technologists required
BLS required
Relevant Experience:
1 year OR experience strongly preferred
