Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Certified Surgical Technician II for the Operating Room at Morristown Medical Center, working 7AM-8PM, rotating weekends, holidays, and call required.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Scrubbing and Preparing for surgical cases in a fast paced, multi specialty Surgery Department.
- Adheres to AORN Standards, applies principles of aseptic technique assuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Multi specialty knowledge base of surgical procedures, safe and quick turnovers utilizing a team approach and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School degree or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required
License/Certification:
- Certified Surgical technologists required
- BLS required
Relevant Experience:
- 1 year OR experience strongly preferred
