Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity for a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist in our Laboratory department. Applicant should be an MT, MLS or MLT with an ASCP certification or eligible for certification. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Normal schedule is 40 hours per week with rotating on-call schedule for nights, weekends and holidays. Applicant must be organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication, customer service and computer skills, and be able to multi-task.
Applicant must be a well-rounded generalist proficient in all areas of the lab including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and Phlebotomy. The tech would work independent on call for overnight and weekend schedules.
