Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The Medical Office Associate will manage phones, schedule/confirm appointments
Medical Office Associategreet patients, enter demographics & patient information, verify insurance coverage
MOA will accurately complete necessary forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system and process pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required
Requirements:
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice preferred
Able to multitask and work flexible hours to accommodate physicians' schedule
Computer literacy in Word and Excel helpful
Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
