Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant II to join the Pediatric Pulmonary department in Morristown, NJ part of Atlantic Medical Group.
No weekend requirement
Monday through Friday schedule
Our entry level offers start at $20.69 / hour and increase based upon experience.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, patient intake, managing phones, checking in patients upon arrival, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scanning documents into the electronic medical record, and processing medical records releases.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to travel to different office experience preferred
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate practice hours
Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
License/Certifications:
Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NCMA, NAHP or NHA required
Relevant Experience:
Two years medical office experience preferred
EMR experience desired
