JOB SUMMARY:
The RN Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. The RN Registered Nurse provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Six (6) months RN Registered Nurse experience required.
Active RN Registered Nurse license in the state.
BLS required prior to orientation completion. Must be obtained through Penn State Health or American Heart Association (AHA).
ACLS required on telemetry units within 12 months of hire
