KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides organizational support for research studies, quality improvement initiatives, and operational projects.
Supports research investigators and senior research staff.
Plans and leads the execution of research program meetings and events.
Develops marketing proposals for research programs, as well as program services and meetings.
Supports collaboration between team members, both internal and external to the project, and serves as research program liaison with internal & external research staff, as well as vendors and suppliers.
Prepares and executes portions of research projects in the area of healthcare research. Uses external resources to supplement, organize, and contribute to tasks.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT (NOVICE)
Manage data intake and databases, and interpret and analyze data in an accurate manner. Apply qualitative and quantitative research methods to perform preparatory, regulatory, and analytic tasking within the life
cycle of a study. Interpret, analyze, organize and generate subsequent reports and metrics using REDCap and Microsoft Excel. Manage website and group requests for specified projects. Provide input on the goals and objectives of the programs on which you assist and recommendations for improvement based upon outcomes of events or programs. Assist with curation of content for reports and grants. If applicable, assist with healthcare research as it pertains to a project's aims, and generate report of researched findings.
PROGRAM/MEETING PLANNING (NOVICE)
Document project plans, timelines, and budgets as needed according to the lifecycle of a sponsored research project. Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets and other files as needed. Manage and coordinate supportive data processing activities. Coordinate research study participant meetings by preparing invitations, guest lists, and registration details as directed. Coordinate travel arrangements for participants as needed. Identify, research, and recommend facilities. Prepare ad hoc reports on the status of the event, program or service upon request. Maintain documentation on service agreements with vendors and suppliers. Monitor expenses and reconcile variances against established budgets. Prepare ad hoc budget reports as needed. Submit purchase orders & work orders and maintain budgetary records of transactions.
PROGRAM/EVENT MARKETING (NOVICE)
Help with the design of promotional materials for the research study program, event or service. Distribute communications via mail, electronic media or other means. Manage and curate content for program's media outlets (websites, social media accounts, newsletters). Prepare effective presentations in content and function. Possess the ability to speak competently to the level of the audience.
PROGRAM/EVENT EXECUTION (NOVICE)
Act as a liaison for the program, event or service by answering inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns. Act as a liaison to suppliers and vendors for the program, activity or event. Schedule meetings with high-level healthcare executives to further event/program. Determines appropriate staffing levels for the event or program/service, and hires, trains and supervises volunteers, student workers, or staff for the event or program/service.
