Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a full time OR RN Circulator to join our River Street Orthopedic Surgery Center team.
** $15,000 Sign On Bonus offered based on experience **
Schedule: 4 (10) hour shifts with varied start times ranging from 0530-1900 M-F and variable days based on staffing needs. No weekends, holidays or call.

Position Summary
The orthopedic surgery center at River Street is a free standing surgery center. We offer all types of ambulatory procedures from the simplest to the most complex repairs of the shoulder/knee/elbow/wrist/hand/foot/ankle. We have a highly skilled orthopedic-focused team of RNs/CSTs/SPDs and office staff to serve our patients, physicians, and each other in a comfortable and focused environment.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.
Responsibilities
- Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
- Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manages care of patients.
- Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
- Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 1 year RN Circulator exerpeince highly preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
