Summary

Work with Practice Manager and providing support with training of Medical Assistant staff. Serve as communication liaison between manager, physicians and medical assistance staff. Provide input and suggestions of improvement in patient flow, clinical policies and procedures. In addition, will administer medication and works directly with other health care professionals at the site as well as ancillary department and services to coordinate care. Utilizes a defined skill set consistent with the basic educational program, certification, and relevant work experience to deliver direct care to the patient in the outpatient clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Education

Required: High School Diploma/GED required with completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.

Experience

Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Experience

Required: BLS, Certified Medical Assistant and must maintain active certification in both.
