Position Summary: The Endpoint Engineer III is an experienced member of the EUC and EES team focusing on operating system and software automation. The Engineer will work with the EUC and EES staff to provide technical guidance/training and provide recommendations on best solutions. As part of the Endpoint Engineering Services team, the Endpoint Engineer III provides technical and administrative support for MultiCare's physical and virtual endpoints and all supporting infrastructure including: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager infrastructure, Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring encryption, Lexmark Print Release, Azure virtualization environment desktop image, Citrix XenDesktop desktop image, IGEL Universal Management Suite, Windows OSD and image maintenance (both 7 and 10). They will develop and manage Microsoft Desktop and images in accordance to MHS security policy for a large enterprise environment. They will set and test EUC hardware standards, create scripts for automating repetitive tasks, collecting metrics and system monitoring. They will provide 3rd Level support for Windows Operating Systems. Work situations are varied and require EUC expertise, organization, prioritization, analysis, problem solving, discretion and good judgment in decision making, working independently and as part of a team. They will facilitate effective and efficient use of information systems by functioning as a point of contact for user needs relating to personal computers, peripherals, software, network and system needs. They are responsible for assessing management and user needs, troubleshooting problems, and for making decisions.
Minimum Requirements: 10 years of IT experience working as an EUC Analyst, Desktop Analyst, or Systems Administrator 5 years of experience as an Endpoint Engineer, Desktop Engineer, or System Administrator utilizing automation tools (SCCM and Active Directory) and scripting (DCL and/or PowerShell)
Education/Licenses/Certifications: AA in healthcare or computer science; Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred Specific experience may be substituted for education A+ Certification or equivalent certifications Valid Washington State Drivers License
