Atlantic Health System is seeking a PerDiem Unit Associate I for Kahn 5- Neuro/Medical Unit at Morristown Medical Center, working varied shifts including every other weekend and holidays as per the needs of the unit.
Answering the phones
Answering and responding appropriately to the call bells
Greeting patients and families
Assisting the charge nurse with bed management and bed assignments and patient chart maintenance
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous Unit Associate experience in a hospital or medical office setting and medical terminology knowledge
The candidate must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
The position is for Per Diem with varying shifts (days and evenings) including weekends and holidays based on the unit's needs
Must be available to attend at least four weeks or more of training during the days and evening hours, as well as weekends
