Lincoln County Hospital is looking to fill a Full Time or Part time position in the Radiology Department. The candidate is required to hold a current Radiology Technologist license in the State of Kansas, be registered with ARRT, and Computed Tomography(CT) experience preferred but not required (willing to train). Our Radiology department is equipped with DR systems in both the room and portable. We also just upgraded our CT machine as well!
This position is full time or part time. The Radiology department is staffed with 12 hour rotating day shifts Monday-Friday. We are also on call at night during the week and on the weekends.
Call hours include being on call one night a week and one weekend per month.
Completion of training in an accredited, approved school for Radiological Technologists.
Computed Tomography (CT) experience is preferred, but not required.
BLS certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 month of hire date
Radiologic technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to act independently and make decisions under stress,
Ability to work effectively as part of a team,
Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. The lifting and moving of patients, along with carrying cassettes is a requirement of this position.
Work is performed inside a climate controlled area and personnel may be exposed to certain amounts of radiation and infectious substances.
Lincoln County Hospital is a 14-bed Critical Access Hospital with two Rural Health Clinics, located in North Central Kansas and within 30 minutes of beautiful Wilson Lake. LCH opened its doors in 1952 and has been serving the people of Lincoln County and surrounding areas since. The facility was remodeled in 2011 to provide a more modern facility for our patients. Services include: Acute and Skilled inpatient care, Emergency services, Outpatient services, Laboratory and Radiology services as well as Physical, Speech and Occupational therapies.
