Team consists of Medical Director, various Psychiatric Providers and Nurse Practitioner, Nursing staff includes Nurse Manager, RNs, Psych Associates, Recreational Therapist, Occupational Therapist, CTCs (social workers), and Spiritual Care Specialist. Other specialties utilized based upon individual patient needs.
Adult Mental Health Unit
In collaboration with patients and families, the occupational therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.For Inpatient units, responds and participates in Behavior Control Situations (BCS), and for both Inpatient and Outpatient units, performs CPR.
Occupational Therapy Licensure in State of Minnesota or temporary license in State of Minnesota
Active Minnesota Basic Life Support Certification
Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (COTA)
