Purpose Statement / Position Summary This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The employee shall support Saddleback Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities. The Administrative Assistant I supports the Cardiac Rehab department with administrative and secretarial support. Specifically, this position supports cardiac programs related to Nutrition Wellness, Fitness First, Osteoporosis Clinic, Pulmonary Rehab and Community Wellness initiatives. Functions of this role include preparation of reports, gathering statistics, formalize communications for internal and external distribution. In addition, this role will provide support to the Clinical Supervisors and other functions with the department and requests of the Operations Manager.
