These professionals provide seamless primary and specialty care, working together to meet the unique needs of each individual patient. MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Mercy Medical Group is aligned with Dignity Health, operating on a medical foundation model. Position description Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is looking to add physicians interested in developing a Cardiac Intensivist service with our world-class Cardiac Surgery program. These providers will work in conjunction with Cardiac Surgery and Advanced Heart Failure Service in the care of pre/post-surgical patients, cardiogenic shock (Impella, ECMO) as well as post-VAD implant in a 20-bed CSICU and CCU. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience and desire to work with mechanical circulatory support is highly desirable.
