Reporting into our Director, Digital Health, Business Development and Licensing we're seeking a Licensing Project Manager to collaborate across our Digital Informatics and Tech Solutions (DigITs) organization with team members and partners on complex enterprise-wide projects and key priorities.
The Licensing Project Manager directs and actively manages the development and daily operations of licenses and contracts including managing inbound license requests, communicating directly to external clients, ultimately managing and tracking numerous engagements simultaneously at various stages of the process. This project manager will own the overall licensing workflow for the targeted products and coordinate internal participants in the review and contracting process including license and contract professionals, legal reviewers, product management leaders, and accounting/invoicing/fulfillment resources.
What you will do:
Orchestrate a detailed oriented workflow with the ability to multitask numerous engagements at various points in a contracting process involving multiple internal and external participants.
Summarize for larger contracting team any changes/updates in a given contract, highlights potential dependencies between terms or similar terms in other contracts, and make recommendations. Manages changes to documents as recommended by the contracting team. Reviews final documents in a regular cadence
Convene necessary resources to remove impediments and ensures the timely execution of the overall contracting process.
Ensure all technical, operational/regulatory compliance issues, dependencies, alternatives, and options are identified and addressed via the larger contracting team.
Schedule and assign staff activities to the team to effectively meet requirements and deadlines.
Host regular internal cadence with the contracting team. Sets agenda, prepares review materials in advance, documents outcomes and processes changes agreed by contracting team.
Manage communication with external clients and the internal product team to ensure any support, license, or other requests are addressed prompt manner.
What you need:
3-5 years working in project management or contracts. Paralegal experience will be considered with a background in contract management
Proven experience collaborating with diverse technical teams and navigating a business/agile transformation
Ability to influence & engage, being resilient, managing change, executive communications, and empowering people with a servant leader approach
A Bachelor's degree is preferred; experience in place of a degree will be considered
