MSK has initiated a Digital Transformation Program that is changing and improving many aspects of Information Technology operations, infrastructure, system architecture and development. In addition, MSK has experienced significant growth over the past several years. These factors have made it vital to evaluate, develop and improve IT Policies, Technology Standards, and Governance. The IT Compliance Analyst will be a core member of the DigITs Standards & Governance Team responsible for managing IT policies and technology standards across the various MSKCC Departments as well as raising awareness of policy and standards compliance.
Evaluate, develop and monitor compliance of IT policies and technology standards for MSKCC
Manage internal and external reviews, inspections, and investigations relative to the IT policies and technology standards.
Promote IT policies and technology standardsusing various digital, remote and on-site communications campaigns to promote awareness andensure the compliance at MSKCC
Shares knowledge, trends, and best practices with team members to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the completion of standards and to enhance the companys risk assessment
Communicate and improve the awareness oftechnology divisionstandards and governance to the various partners and their respective business units
Coordinatewith Internal/External Audit to ensure risk management priorities are reflected in annual plans and initiatives
Assist with reporting on compliance of IT policies and tech standards for managing risk.
Establish and maintain technology inventory at MSKCC
Responsible for technology standards/policiestraining plans including establishment of training curriculum, assignment, records management, and reporting.
Research and identify opportunities for process and operationalpractices. Performs other related duties as assigned
Remains current with industry trends and enhances knowledge and expertise within the technology standards compliance, as well as information technology relevant to the health care industry
5-7+ years of large-scale IT operations and / or development experience with recent work related to Tech Standards & Governance
Working knowledge with IT auditors
Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience in lieu of degree
Healthcare industry background is a plus
Certification in IT compliance i.e. Information Systems Auditor, Governance of Enterprise IT a plus
