Volunteer Services Coordinator

Overview The Coordinator is accountable for the daily operations of the department by organizing, implementing and maintaining a volunteer program that will contribute to the physical and mental well-being of patients, supports the needs of family members and staff, meets the mission of the hospital, encourages community interactions and meets the individual needs of the volunteers. Assists in developing goals, policies and procedures; on boards and supervises volunteers for efficient operation and service to designated customers, programs or services. Assures staff and volunteers have the knowledge and skills to meet the identified needs and operational responsibilities. This system-wide position does require travel to various hospital sites across the metro. Establishes Volunteer Program and Service Needs
