Fairview Health is hiring WOC RN to work at both Burnsville, MN and Edina, MN. The WOC RN provides consultation, education, leadership, staff supervision, and direct care for patients with needs in the areas of wounds, ostomies, fistulas, drains, and incontinence problems.
Casual, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts
Location: Fairview Southdale Hospital and may float to other locations
Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nursing operates within the Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Plans of Fairview Hospitals. WOC Nursing provides consultation, education, leadership, staff supervision, and direct care for patients with needs in the areas of wounds, ostomies, fistulas, drains, and incontinence problems. WOC Nursing collaborates with physicians, staff nurses, and other health care disciplines to determine best treatment protocols, and facilitate quality outcomes for ostomy and wound care patients. WOC Nursing incorporates current research and best practice guidelines for the care of ostomy and wound patients. The WOC Nurse is available for consultation during off hours in emergencies.
Bachelors degree and graduation from an accredited WOC Nursing program.
