Our Neurology Practice is looking for a full time Medical Assistant . The MA will work in an office environment handling both clinical and administrative functions.

This busy Practice is comprised of 20 Providers, that helps with a range of neurological conditions, including chronic neurological disorders such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.

The responsibilities of the Medical Assistant will include but not limited to chart prepping, rooming (in-person and virtual), prior authorization, answering phones, medication refill and pool messages.

Work Hours: Mon - Fri (8am-5:30pm) (Change as per Practice)

Qualification and Certification:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
  • 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is preferred
