  • Function under the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Assumes responsibility for Nursing Service Department in the hospital.
  • Carryout in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • In collaboration with the CNO assists to implement, interpret, and assure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Directly supervises the charge nurses and other co-workers as assigned.
  • Responsible for implementing hospital goals and objectives based on budget parameters.
  • Possess a genuine interest in nursing and in the development and research of nursing care for the patient and the hospital according to Hodgeman County Health Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

 

  • Graduate of accredited registered nurse program.
  • Current state licensure in the state required.
  • Experience in administrative/supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and any other additional certifications required by the facility. If not certified, must be willing to obtain certifications.
  • Participate in the Sr. Nurse on-call rotation schedule.
