The clinical palliative care and oncology senior social worker, the incumbent provides therapeutic interventions and psychosocial and case management services to eligible veterans with life-limiting illness and their family members to meet the bio-psychosocial and environmental needs of the patient. Services and support are provided on inpatient units and in the outpatient clinic settings. Social Worker assists patients throughout the medical center and serves as point of contact for CBOC.
