Smith County Memorial Hospital has an opening for a laboratory scientist to support our growing patient service in Smith Center, Kan. The laboratory scientist will obtain specimens and perform analysis in blood and fluid chemistry, hematology, coagulation studies, urinalysis and other tests used for the diagnosis of medical conditions.
Candidates should have an associate or bachelor's degree in a science field (chemistry, biology, etc.) Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) is desirable but not required. SCMH will assist in certification upon hiring. After hours call is required in rotation with other laboratory staff. Excellent salary and benefits package.
