The Primary Care Service has an immediate opening for a board eligible/board certified physician in our Tulare Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). candidate will provide a full range of Outpatient/Ambulatory care for Veterans The VA Central California Healthcare System(VACCHCS ) provides a full range of patient care services, as well as education and research. Education and research are not routine expectations, but there is potential and each site. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary, secondary, and long-term care in the areas of primary care, specialty medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics, and extended care.
VA Central California Health Care System is affiliated with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno Medical Education Program and provides a rich academic environment including postgraduate medical education training for residents and fellows in specialties and sub-specialties.
The VA Central California features the PACT (patient aligned care team/medical home) mode of care. The selected provider will have the full support of RN’s, LVN’s, clerical staff, administrative staff, social workers, pharmacists, mental health professionals and dietitians to provide high quality primary care to their Veterans.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
Expected Salary range $200,000 to $243,000, * May include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus
